1. Overview & Commitment to Privacy
At Dust Buster, developed by BCCTECH, we respect your privacy and provide transparent controls allowing you to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated gameplay data at any time.
2. How to Request Data Deletion
You can request the complete deletion of your data through either of the following methods:
Option A: In-App Instant Deletion (Fastest)
Open the Dust Buster app on your device.
Navigate to Settings (Gear Icon) from the Main Menu.
Scroll to the Data & Privacy section and tap "Reset All Data" or "Delete Account & Cloud Save".
Confirm your selection. All local databases, preferences, and saved game backups will be permanently erased immediately.
Option B: Submit a Deletion Request via Email / Web
If you have uninstalled the app or wish to request the manual purge of all cloud-synced records:
Send an email to al.mito@hotmail.com with the subject line:
Dust Buster - Data Deletion Request
In the body of the email, please provide:
Your Google Play Games Player ID / Gamer Tag (if cloud sync was used), or
The Google Account email associated with your Google Play Games profile.
Our team will verify and process your deletion request within 14 business days and send a confirmation email once complete.
3. Types of Data Deleted vs. Kept
Data That Is Permanently Deleted:
Upon receiving your request or resetting within the app, the following data is permanently wiped and cannot be recovered:
Game Progress & Profiles: Board layout, level completion, high scores, unlocked achievements, quest history, and mini-game statistics (Clean Pop, Garden Warfare, Bug Slayer, Pheromone Sort, Ant Hunter, and Chess).
Virtual Inventory & Currencies: Gold coin balances, energy levels, inventory items, unlocked cosmetics, themes, and skins.
Cloud Snapshots & Backups: Google Play Games Cloud Saves and cryptographic snapshot signatures.
Local Application Data: Local Room database records, cache files, and device-stored preferences.
Data That Is Retained (and Retention Period):
Financial & Purchase Transaction Records: Anonymized transaction identifiers for in-app purchases (e.g., Google Play Order IDs for VIP passes or coin packs) are retained by Google Play / payment processors for up to 7 years solely to comply with applicable tax, legal, fraud prevention, and accounting regulations. We do not store or have access to your credit card or payment details.
No Other Personal Data Retained: Dust Buster does not collect or retain real names, physical addresses, phone numbers, contacts, or precise location data.
4. Third-Party Services
If you have linked external services, you may also manage data stored directly by Google:
Google Play Games Services: You can delete your Play Games profile and data for specific games directly through your Android device settings under Settings > Google > Settings for Google apps > Play Games > Delete Play Games account & data.
Google AdMob: Advertising identifiers can be reset or deleted anytime via Settings > Google > Ads > Reset advertising ID / Delete advertising ID.
